Stefan had spent most of childhood as a musician learning to play the clarinet and piano
He learned to play the clarinet at the age of 4.
At the age of 6 he was one of the youngest members of the Beratzhausen youth brass band.
At the age of 7 Stefan started piano lessons.
At the age of 10, he attended the elite music high school of the world-famous Regensburger Domspatzen, who are demonstrably one of the world's best boys' choirs, and received voice-piano and church organ lessons there.
Until he graduated from high school, he was a member of the soloist ensemble of the Regenburger Domspatzen under the direction of cathedral conductor Georg Ratzinger (brother of former Pope Benedict) with numerous tours abroad.

Afterwards he studied classical saxophone at the Nuremberg University of Music and combined this with music teaching studies at the University of Regensburg.
At the same time, he studied sports at the University of Regensburg, graduating with a major in soccer.
Several workshops for jazz and rock followed.
Graduation with the 1st and 2nd state examination for music and sports.
After a world tour with enterprise orchestra and artist accompaniment (among others Heino-Paul Kuhn) he was booked by the Traumschiff agency for several world tours as a soloist for saxophone and clarinet.
For several years he has also been teaching music and sports at a secondary school.

In addition to the projects Sax & Voice with Boris Rusakov and cordings, Stefan Lamml also plays in various big bands and different jazz/blues-rock/pop and funk formations.
Stefan Lamml is mainly on the road as a soloist for concerts at home and abroad.
Since 2017 Stefan Lamml is present with regular video appearances as SAXMAN on YOUTUBE and shows there, among other things, also as a sax coach instructional videos on saxophone and clarinet playing.
His saxophone and clarinet workshops (including for *late beginners*) with enthusiastic participants from all over Germany-Switzerland and Austria are regularly fully booked after a short time.
